Give us all Christ the strength to remember that life is very fragile, to remember that we are all vulnerable, and we will all at some points in our lives fall.............We must carry this in our hearts that what we have is special and that it can be taken from us, and when it is taken from us, we will be tested, we will be tested to our very souls..............it is this times, it is this pains that allows us to look inside ourselves and have a resolute character.................Start with the simple questions of.....why are we here? What gives our lives meaning? What gives our acts purpose? We know our time on this earth is fleeting.........we know that we will each have our share of pleasure and pain............that even after we chase some earthly goals, whether its wealth or power or fame or just simple comfort, we will in some fashion fall short of what we hoped for..............we know that no matter how good our intentions are, we will all stumble sometimes in some ways, we will make mistakes, we will experience hardships........even when we try to do the right things, much of our time will be spent groping through darkness, so often unable to discern God's heavenly plans........ BUT there is only one thing we can be sure of.......that is, the satisfaction in trying...........we have to try, try and try some more.
